Bob Condon

Investment Advisor, Founder

Bob is an investment advisor and founder of the Foundation Investment Group. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company's investment, insurance, and planning recommendations. Bob was previously employed at IBM, Merrill Lynch, Landsing Properties, and Liquidity Fund Investment Group. He has been a registered investment professional since 1976 and has collaborated with Richard Band on alternative investment strategies since 1991. He is an emeritus member of the Board for Community Partners International, a nonprofit medical relief organization working with the underserved people of Burma.

Bob is a graduate of Brown University (economics 1974) and the University of California/Haas School of Business (MBA 1980). He holds his FINRA Series 7, 24, 31, 63, and 65 securities registrations as a registered representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, a Registered Investment Adviser. Bob is an avid hiker and traveler and has been on multiple trips to the Himalaya in Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet.

Adam Gallegos

Investment Advisor, President

Adam is an investment advisor and president of the Foundation Investment Group. A Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Adam is a financial services expert with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining the Foundation Investment Group, Adam was previously employed as a senior consultant at W.P. Carey, Inc., Altegris Investments, and Kensington Investment Group. His knowledge in alternative investment strategies is extensive, including public and private real estate securities, global macro, long-short equity, managed futures, event-driven, fixed income long short, distressed real estate, venture, and private equity. Adam began his financial services career as an analyst at JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Barclays Global Investors.

Adam received his B.S. from California State University at Sacramento (business administration with a concentration in finance) and as a registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network has his FINRA Series 3, 7, 30 and 66 securities registrations.  A nationally ranked motocross racer in his youth, Adam has always had a passion for sports. His two sons are now showing an interest in golf, and he hopes this will provide him the opportunity to get his handicap back into the single digits. Adam and his wife, Christine, have traveled extensively and spent time in over 40 countries. These experiences have helped build his tremendous understanding of world markets, their interdependence, and their complexities.

 

Hiro Kagiyama

Investment Advisor, Director of Research

Hiro is an investment advisor and director of research, focusing on investment research, due diligence, and portfolio design. Prior to joining the Foundation Investment Group in 2009, Hiro was a research analyst at the Kensington Investment Group, where he worked with international real estate, senior real estate securities, and infrastructure-related industries, including basic materials, rail transportation, utilities, and energy.

Hiro is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara (business economics with honors 2005). He holds his FINRA Series 7, 31, and 66 securities registrations as a registered representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, a Registered Investment Adviser. Hiro is an avid outdoorsman and a devoted fisherman.

Greg Partalis

Investment Advisor, Vice President

Greg is an investment advisor and vice president of the Foundation Investment Group, working with clients in a regional capacity since 2005. He was formerly the president of a NASD broker/dealer that specialized in private placement real estate offerings. During his career, he has also worked in sales as an individual contributor, field sales manager, and senior-level sales executive with a number of publically traded technology companies and several venture capital-financed, pre-IPO, high-tech start-up firms.

Greg started his career at IBM and is a graduate of Central Michigan University (business administration/magna cum laude 1974). He holds his FINRA Series 7, 24, 31, 63, and 66 securities registrations as a registered representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, a Registered Investment Adviser, as well as a state of Georgia life and health insurance license.

Paula Shober

Director of Operations

Paula serves as the Foundation Investment Group’s director of operations.  Included in her role is the coordination of the firm’s marketing efforts and office administration.  Paula’s last stop was W. P. Carey Inc. where she spent over 20 years in sales management, business development, and national accounts.  With a considerable amount of experience in building relationships, marketing and sales strategies, she brings an abundant skill set to her role at FIG.  

A graduate of Bennington College (B.A. literature and dance 1986), Paula holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 securities registrations.  Personally, Paula cherishes spending time with her family, especially with her wonderful, launched and fully employed adult daughters.  In their free time, Paula and her husband enjoy cycling, walking their 15 year old Dachshund, Wendy, practicing yoga, cooking, and traveling the world whenever possible.  

Julianna Ceccarelli

Client Service Associate

Julianna serves as the Foundation Investment Group’s Client Service Associate.  Included in her role is supporting financial advisors and operations on investment products and services. Before landing at FIG, Julianna served as the Human Resource Assistant and Corporate Recruiter for a local homegrown E-Commerce business. She is excited to be a FIG team member and learn more about the financial industry.

In December 2018, Julianna graduated from the University of Portland a semester early completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration.  While attending the University of Portland, Julianna was an active member at the school’s volunteering center and served as an immersion coordinator.  She has continued her volunteer work in the Bay Area with the local Nurturing Parenting program.  In September 2019, she began attending Saint Mary’s College of California working towards her MBA and expects to graduate in June 2021.

From a young age, Julianna took an interest in painting.  Over the years, she has developed her own unique style and has displayed her work in local galleries.  In her free time, Julianna enjoys exploring and playing tourist around San Francisco with her friends and family. You can often find her hiking around the East Bay or at a San Francisco Giants game.  Julianna’s goal for the year is to better establish her cooking skills by learning from her Italian family during their weekly family gatherings and documenting the family recipes.
